Course Description:

Note: Class fee is $70, to be paid directly to Express Cheer on the first day of class. Students new to Express must also bring a signed waiver to the first class. The form is available on both HOPE’s and Express Cheer’s websites. This class will focus on basic to advanced tumbling skills and the foundations of cheerleading. Adventures in North America

Stick Figuring The Bible

Course Description:

On this journey, students will study the Judges, Ruth, Samuel, the first three kings of Israel, and much more as they discover how God interacted with His people from the Jordan River to the First Temple. As they study these important people and events, they will also learn basic Bible geography through mapping exercises. Simple stick figures are used to teach exciting Biblical truths.

Materials and Supplies:

Bible, colored pencils, pencil needed each week. Please make sure they have at least a 10 pack of colored pencils sharpened each week for class.

Class Duration: 10 weeks

Course Description:

YES! You can develop a passion and the basic skills needed to play this sport for a lifetime. In 10 short weeks you will master basic strokes, gets lots of on court practice, and learn basic score keeping. Best of all- this is a class you can take again and again. *Note: This class will travel to Warren Park. Students will be transported by HOPE teachers and assistants.

Materials and Supplies:

Tennis racket and one new can of tennis balls. This is an outdoor P.E. class, so please dress accordingly and bring a water bottle. No sandals or flip flops.

U.S. Geography

We will be Cantering the Country as we learn about important information and interesting facts about our 50 states. Students will learn about maps and landforms, while also highlighting the stories of historical figures. This is a 20 week course that will continue next semester.
